1991 Sexual Abuse Victimization and Native Healing: Literature Review

This paper results from a selective literature review on Native treatment programs. As well, a
summary of recent reviews of the impacts of sexual abuse victimization is presented.
The purpose in writing the paper is to develop a series of practical principles to aid the design and evaluation of the Mook’am Sexual Abuse Program, at Native Child and Family Services of Toronto.
