During his academic and professional career, Frank dedicated himself to creating a body of knowledge that would benefit both his students and the communities in which he worked. His contribution lives on through his teachings and through his work with families, children and the aboriginal communities in Canada.

It is my hope that the material available here will help others in their work in the field of human services. A driving force behind Frank’s work was his belief that the learnings and the expertise gained over his career should be shared with students and other professionals – and, ultimately, be used to benefit others.

Frank’s research is offered here as a resource, and as his legacy to the profession in which he devoted his life’s work.
